Solis typically pursues majority equity investments ranging from $2 - $25 Million,
and will invest subordinated debt (along with equity) when
appropriate. Solis is flexible regarding investment timing, with
returns typically targeted within four to six years. While Solis reviews each opportunity on its merits, Solis portfolio companies
generally meet the following criteria:
- Strong management team with the desire and capability to grow
- Proven business model with a growing, fragmented, domestic market size of at least $300 Million
- Proprietary intellectual property, processes or capabilities that create barriers to entry
- Secure market position not subject to technological obsolescence
- Revenues between $15 Million and $150 Million
- Three year history of positive cash flow
- Three year history of 10% EBITDA margins or greater
- Potential to generate compounded annual earnings growth of a least 10% over a five year period
