Dan Lubeck Managing Director

Dan Lubeck is the founder and Managing Director of Solis Capital Partners. He has led as a principal or professional over 60 acquisitions and divestitures of middle market companies. Prior to Solis, Mr. Lubeck co-founded Unique Investment Corporation, a similar leverage buyout company. In 1992, Mr. Lubeck was a founding partner of a Southern California-based business law firm of McIntyre, Lubeck, Borgess & Burns. Prior thereto, he was an attorney for the national law firms of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, specializing in corporate and real estate acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Lubeck earned a law degree from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Lubeck has served as Chairman of a publicly traded company, and sits on a variety of private company Boards of Directors. He also has served as CEO/President of two operating companies.

Craig Dupper Principal

Craig Dupper joined Solis Capital Partners in December 2002.  Prior to Solis, Mr. Dupper was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York, where he provided merger and strategic advisory services and executed more than $8.5 billion in financings.  Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Dupper was an Associate with Bear Stearns, where he executed transactions valued at more than $1.6 billion.  Mr. Dupper’s Wall Street experience began in the Investment Banking Department of The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank.  Prior to graduate school, Mr. Dupper was an Account Executive at Porter/Novelli in Los Angeles, a member of the Omnicom family of marketing services firms. Mr. Dupper is on the boards of Miro Technologies, Inc., Kamino Logistics Group, Ltd., and American Towing Alliance, Inc.  In addition, Mr. Dupper serves as Finance Chair on the Board of the San Diego chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO).  Mr. Dupper earned an MBA degree from Yale University, and a BA degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Linda Steifel Operations

Linda Stiefel joined Solis Capital Partners in May, 2008.  She is responsible for internal administration, portfolio reporting, account management, and investor relations. Prior to Solis, Ms. Stiefel worked in real estate development as sole proprietor, acquiring land, designing, building, furnishing and selling, turnkey luxury residential and resort properties in Utah, Las Vegas and California. She also worked in commercial real estate as a designer, builder and operator of offices and restaurants.
Ms. Stiefel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California Berkeley, and is an avid sports fan, especially of her alma mater’s California Golden Bears. In a post graduate year at Cal, she also earned a lifetime California Teaching Credential in Secondary Education and taught part time in the Newport Mesa School District.
